The latch broke. She tumbled into the street, topless in knickers and heels. Wearing mostly mud, she made it to the space ship hatch just in time.

Jacqueline Lichtenberg
http://www.simegen.com/jl/Jacqueline Lichtenberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01613040740264804278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26974492.post-28936165419731811542008-11-26T11:59:00.000-05:002008-11-26T11:59:00.000-05:00Having set the cup on the table, she ran for the d...Having set the cup on the table, she ran for the door.Rowena Cherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11839386556697211986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26974492.post-58761530191324342952008-11-26T11:53:00.000-05:002008-11-26T11:53:00.000-05:00Interesting. I don't think I make simultaneity errors much, but I know when I look at my writing I often sense something unpolished that I can't quite put my finger on. I'll add -ing verbs as something to look out for (along with linking verbs).José Iriartehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03653811568201804995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26974492.post-55030550503061663942008-11-24T11:26:00.000-05:002008-11-24T11:26:00.000-05:00Reading happily, I continued to learn.Reading happily, I continued to learn.Lisa Iriartehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12746425619147737744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26974492.post-48031426313637027582008-11-24T11:23:00.000-05:002008-11-24T11:23:00.000-05:00Good stuff.I've found www.justaboutwrite.com extre...Good stuff.

I've found www.justaboutwrite.com extremely helpful in self-editing, especially the articles on repetitive words. I notice I have a few 'Red Flag Words.' When I see these words in my writing, I know I've messed up somewhere and have to go back and ferret the problem out. It's still a learning process.Kimber Lihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03982239712083114488noreply@blogger.com
